About Us

Austrian Association of Inclusive Society (AIS) is a non-governmental organization based in Vienna, Austria, dedicated to interdisciplinary research that promotes innovation and collaboration in the fields of human rights, social inclusion and development.

AIS’s activities include research and analysis, evaluations, publications and advocacy, as well as convene and facilitate the exchange of ideas and open discussions that stimulate new thinking on current issues in Europe, while keeping a global perspective. 

AIS holds conferences, workshops, trainings and other events that focus on social development, behavioural change and foster inclusion of youth and marginalised groups.

AIS has a strong reputation for producing independent quality studies, as well as engaging in international collaborative support and promoting good practices that generate relevant work. Inclusive Society currently works in delivering a wide variety of projects and advocates strategic influence in a range of sectors that touch on our focus thematic areas. 

Staff members and volunteers are committed to fight for equal rights for all and to promote the full inclusion of socially disadvantaged, disabled and marginalised people in all aspects of life.

OUR PEOPLE

Ozel Coskuner

Özel Coşkuner has over a decade of experience across multiple areas of the education sector, ranging from ministerial advisorship to university management, student counselling, and teaching. He currently leads several organisations, driving strategic development and international cooperation. With a solid background in project management, he has contributed to more than 100 international research and innovation projects, supporting institutional growth, policy development, and cross-sector collaboration.

Marco Roux

Marco Roux is a Human Rights advocate with extensive experience in international cooperation. He holds a Master’s in Politics and Government with a focus on migrant children and education, as well as a Master’s in Human Rights from the University of Vienna. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in EU Project Management at the University of Applied Arts Burgenland and a Master’s in Terrorism, Security and Defence at Universidad Europea. Marco has written, coordinated, and managed numerous EU-funded projects and plays a leading role in several organisations dedicated to inclusion, education, and social development.

Laura Oyuela

Laura is a cross-disciplinary artist and researcher with a Bachelor’s in Cross-Disciplinary Strategies – Applied Studies in Art, Science, Philosophy, and Global Challenges from the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She has experience in curation, project management, and collective methods. In 2023, she interned at Logische Phantasie Lab, a Vienna-based, women-led organization addressing climate change and digital technologies, and completed exchange studies at the School for Graphic Research in Brussels in the Master’s program in Situated Practices. Currently, she continues her studies in Site-Specific Art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, further developing her interdisciplinary approach.

Vladislav Olefirenko

Vladyslav Olefirenko is an Erasmus+ Project Manager, actively contributing to the coordination of international initiatives that facilitate educational development and cultural exchange. His role involves managing a diverse array of projects, necessitating meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills. Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management and Marketing, Vladyslav is acquiring critical insights into management strategies and marketing dynamics. In addition to his academic pursuits, he is involved in video creation and design, enhancing projects’ visibility and engaging audiences through innovative, modern approaches.

Denitsa Ivanova

Denitsa Ivanova is a final-year Political Science student at the University of Vienna, specializing in Political Ecology, International Politics, and Urban Sociology, with a minor in Global Corporate Management. She works as a student tutor, engages in Erasmus+ exchanges, and focuses on EU values and non-formal education. Her NGO work includes research on youth opportunities in Bulgaria, and she has participated in Model EU simulations on youth unemployment and cybersecurity, reflecting her commitment to civic engagement.

Brelyantika Jesa

Brelyantika Indra Jesa is a scholarship awardee and graduate of the European Joint Master in Social Work with Children and Youth (ESWOCHY, 2021–2023), jointly offered by universities in Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, and Portugal. She has over five years’ volunteer experience across Asia and Europe, participated in the Asia-Europe Young Leader Summit (ASEFYLS) 2023, and led two international workcamps with Service Civil International (SCI) Germany in 2022 and 2023.

Ghita El Mtioui

Ghita El Mtioui is a multilingual professional with experience in international project management, digital communication, and HR support. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Abdullah Gül University in Turkey and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Global Accounting and Finance at the Venice School of Management, Ca’ Foscari University.

At AIS, Ghita contributes to the implementation of EU-funded projects, supporting activities that promote inclusion, digital literacy, and community empowerment. Working across diverse cultural contexts, she brings a global perspective, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to driving positive impact.

Anna Mészáros

Anna is a passionate and thoughtful recent European Studies graduate from Comenius University in Bratislava, specializing in European politics and minority rights. Her academic journey—from Bratislava to Zagreb—covered EU fundamental rights, intercultural cooperation, and research on social innovation in education for marginalized Roma communities in Slovakia and Hungary. Fluent in Hungarian, English, and Slovak, with working knowledge of German and Croatian, Anna combines intellectual depth with strong intercultural skills.

Gourav Batra

With nearly 5 years of marketing experience in India, Gourav Batra brings a sharp business mind and creative spirit. A Business Administration graduate (2018) from India, he recently completed his MBA in Marketing in Germany, further enriched by an Erasmus semester in Spain. Multilingual and multicultural, Gourav speaks English, Hindi (native), German (B2), basic Spanish, and several regional Indian languages, adding global insight and local nuance. Beyond marketing strategy, he is passionate about words and poetry, using storytelling to connect and inspire. Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn, Gourav embraces new challenges and aims to make meaningful contributions.

Kübra Atik

Kübra Atik is an Industrial Engineering graduate with practical experience in process optimization, KPI analysis, and lean manufacturing. During her internships, she contributed to production efficiency, participated in continuous improvement initiatives, and gained experience in procurement processes. Kübra also possesses strong analytical skills, including experience in optimization research and data-driven decision-making, and is passionate about applying her expertise to enhance operational performance.

Bener Karaca

Bener Karaca is a Computer Engineering student at Kocaeli Health and Technology University. He is particularly interested in web development, UI/UX design, and artificial intelligence. Bener is a motivated and curious learner who enjoys working on creative projects and exploring new technologies. With a growing skill set in full-stack development and algorithmic thinking, he aims to build a strong career in software development and emerging tech. He values teamwork, continuous learning, and innovation in every project he takes part in.

Ahmet Gümüs

Ahmet is currently pursuing his PhD in Translation Studies at Sakarya University. He is proficient in German, Turkish, and English. He brings a wealth of linguistic expertise to his role as a translator and takes great pride in his work. He finds joy in continuous learning, fueled by his passion for literature and avid reading habits. Ahmet is committed to contributing his skills and knowledge to further his mission and vision.

Andrea Cheah

Andrea is a third-year undergraduate at Swarthmore College studying Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology. Originally from Singapore, she has worked with migrant workers, children with neurodevelopmental challenges, and community engagement initiatives at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. Passionate about social inclusion, she has contributed to research on integrative healthcare, youth employability, and environmental justice, and is currently studying intercultural barriers for international students and the mental health of migrant domestic workers in Singapore.

Hamzeh Kizawi

Kizawi Hamzeh, is a dedicated leader committed to fostering growth, innovation, and technical excellence among the next generation of developers. With nearly three years of hands-on experience in React and a proven track record of completing over 30 diverse projects—spanning web development, cybersecurity, encryption, and blockchain technologies—Kizawi combines deep technical expertise with strong mentorship skills.

Mateo Inclán

Born in 2003, Mateo Inclán an audiovisual creative with a core focus on Motion Graphics and editing. He specialize in bringing static ideas to life through movement, blending storytelling with a sharp eye for aesthetics. His background in photography and graphic design allows him to approach every project with a full-picture perspective, ensuring every frame is as polished as it is functional.

Sofía Gómez Carletta

She is a creative communication trainee focused on visual storytelling, creating engaging posters, infographics, and social media content. She also uses tools like spaCy to apply natural language processing techniques and enhance the impact of her work.

Al hariri Mihyar

Mihyar Al Hariri is a software developer with a strong focus on building innovative digital solutions. His work spans artificial intelligence, online applications, and eLearning platforms, where he combines technical expertise with a passion for creating impactful, user-centered products.

Emre Duman

Emre Duman is a software developer specializing in web development, with hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. He’s passionate about combining design and technology to create seamless, user-centered interfaces. Emre continues to expand his skills in full-stack and modern JavaScript frameworks to deliver professional, high-quality web solutions.

James Yohannan

James is originally from India and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Economics and Business Studies at the University of Maribor. He brings strong experience in data analysis, quality assurance, and medical data processing, having worked with organisations such as Health Oviations, CorroHealth, and Optum Episource. His background in biochemistry, combined with his technical skills in EMR/EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and data processing, gives him a great analytical edge for our projects.

He speaks excellent English, knows Hindi and Malayalam, and has already shown great motivation to contribute to our team.

Weronika Dobroczyńska

Weronika Dobroczyńska recently completed her Master’s in Cognitive Science, with a focus on UX/UI, digital media, and user experience design. She has experience working in intercultural environments and in design teams, and brings skills in tools such as Canva, Figma, and MS Office. Weronika is highly organised, responsible, and enjoys creative activities like drawing and music.

Vanesa Gaža

Vanesa is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, following a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language and Culture. Her academic journey includes exchange studies in South Korea and China, reflecting her strong international focus.
She has experience in tourism, event coordination, and customer engagement, with strong communication skills developed in multicultural environments. Multilingual and highly adaptable, she is proficient in English, Hungarian and Croatian and continues to advance her Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German and Spanish.

Nitish Kumar B V

He is a Project Management Assistant with expertise in Quality Management, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of projects while ensuring processes meet established quality standards. He contributes to documentation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping teams deliver efficient and high-quality results.
